About Clive
Clive English has lived in Maidstone all his life and attended Maidstone Grammar School. A dedicated Liberal Democrat, Clive has been an active member of the local party for over 40 years and has served on Maidstone Borough Council for 31 of those.

Community Focus
Clive has a long record of championing green spaces and the local environment. He played a leading role in the creation of:
- Hayle Park Nature Reserve
- Collis Millennium Green
- Len Valley Nature Reserve
He remains committed to protecting and enhancing public open spaces across Maidstone.
Other Involvements
Clive is also active in the local voluntary sector, including his work with the Howard De Walden Centre and various community projects. Now retired from Royal Mail, Clive brings decades of public service experience and local knowledge to all his roles.
