Champion of Green Spaces & Environment

  • Longstanding trustee of Hayle Park Nature Reserve, which he helped establish and continues to support
  • Strong advocate for the protection and enhancement of Maidstone’s natural environment
  • Successfully campaigned for reductions to unsustainable local housing targets
  • Actively defends green spaces from overdevelopment and urban sprawl

Fighting for Infrastructure and Services

  • Leading campaigner against congestion in Loose and along Sutton Road
  • Critic of the Conservatives’ failure to invest millions in road improvements despite funds being available
  • Successfully opposed the proposed closure of Tovil Waste and Recycling Centre, helping force a U-turn
