Maidstone Borough Council is reminding visitors to the town centre the Arriva Park and Ride service is operating at both the London Road and Willington Street sites.
Buses are running into town from both sites every 25 minutes Monday to Saturday for shoppers as well as those needing to get into town for work.
It is safe to use as Arriva have introduced a variety of social distancing measures including the government requirement to wear a facemask on all public transport. Full details of all the social distancing and additional cleaning measures can be found online at www.arrivabus.co.uk and are clearly signposted on buses.
Cllr Martin Cox, Leader of Maidstone Borough Council said: “The Park and Ride service is fantastic, its stress-free, you can park your car all day and not worry about finding a parking space. It’s much better for the environment and helps keep the town centre less congested. It is a great service and we are lucky to have it here in Maidstone.”
